A call to prayer to see the end of the Ebola crisis in West Africa

Please join SIM, for a week of worldwide prayer Sept. 29 to Oct. 5, asking God to stop the Ebola virus in West Africa. While many organizations and nations are currently responding to the Ebola crisis, let us set aside this week to pray especially for the people of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea who are facing the greatest outbreaks.

The fight against Ebola in West Africa has been going on since the beginning of 2014, and the spread of this deadly disease is escalating out of control. The infection rate and death toll continue to rise, and the resources brought to bear still pale in comparison to the desperate needs. May our prayers be heard and used by God to accomplish the impossible. Updated prayer requests and other resources can be found at: www.praytoendEbola.org.

For His glory and because of His unfailing love,

Our Purpose

The Missional Purpose of LifePointe Church is to encourage, equip, and empower all individuals and groups of LifePointe Church to actively participate in sharing life in Christ with the nations both far and near in a quality and strategic way.

Our Philosophy

We believe that the Church is God’s primary agency for communicating the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the peoples of the earth. The local church is missional in nature because it is commissioned to participate in God’s mission to bring the Good News to every tribe, tongue and nation on earth. The local church fulfills this mission in two ways:

  • By modeling what it means to live under the rule of Christ in its community life
  • By promoting the reign of God in our surrounding community and around the world

Our Strategy

  • Identify people who need to experience the love of God
  • Invest in their lives by giving ourselves in prayer and friendship, support and encouragement; and
  • Invite them to join into joyful fellowship with Christ and the Church.

For more than 130 years, LifePointe Church has had a strong heart for missions. Many people have gone out from our church to serve in full-time ministry on every continent of the world. We invite you to join us in this supremely noble venture of sharing the life in Christ with the whole world.
