Family:
I was born in Detroit, Michigan and I was 7^th  of 9 children. I came to Christ in College.  After graduating in 1982, I moved to Southern California where I accepted a job with Hughes Aircraft Company. I attended Acacia Baptist Church where I fell in love with the Pastor’s daughter. Her name was Rita who I later made my wife in 1986.  In 1989 God blessed us with my one and only son, who we named Roman. We moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1997 where I began a new career in Information Technology (IT) and where our family joined LifePointe Church.

Personal Vision:  
My purpose for the rest of my life is to be a servant of God.

I strive to grow to be more like Christ in all aspects of my life knowing full well I will never reach the complete goal. I serve God because of what he has done for me on the cross.

God’s love has taught me to love others. I am glad God has brought me to LifePointe Church. I will serve him here using all of the gifts he has graciously given me, including my humor.

Education:
B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Wayne State University. Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute.

Interests and Favorites

• Places: Estes Park. Road trips; especially involving night driving. Hotels with room service and a swimming pool. Michigan, my home state. Any place with there is family and/or friends.
• What’s on your iPad: Books on marriage, the Bible, Real Estate and Business tools, Social apps (e.g. Face Time, LinkedIn, Facebook), frequent membership (e.g. Qdoba) apps.
• Music: I enjoy a wide range of music excluding Rap and Hard Rock. Oldies but Goodies. Favorite artist: Elvis. I enjoy Gospel Music, especially quartets.
• Books: Bible, How-tos, thrillers, technical, organizing.
• What do you DVR: Nothing. Although, I like watching suspenseful thrillers.
• Sports or Teams: Avalanche and Denver Broncos, Tennis and Volleyball. I have to confess I like playing sports more than I enjoy watching them.
• Movies: Shawshank Redemption; Shooter; Patriot; Gladiator; Bourne movies; Ironically not comedies; As I am getting older I am starting to enjoy Romantic movies.
• Hobbies: Volleyball, Softball, Playing Pool, Chess, Card and Board games; reading.
• Dislikes: Negative people, suffering, lack of time to do the things I should or would like to.
• Odd Facts:Rita and I were at the 1985 World Fair in Vancouver, BC. I was once the California State University of Long Beach pool champion. I hiked up the highest mountain in California (Mt Whitney).
