Local Outreach

It’s about gospel-centered relationships

We believe that the three most important relationships in life are our relationship with God, our relationship with those who know God and with those that God desires to be part of His family.

Mission

To make gospel-centered disciples of Jesus Christ, who glorify God for who He is and what He has done, who grow together in God’s Word, and who go to all people near and far declaring the gospel of God’s grace.

Love The Life

Glorify God for who He is and what He has done.

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the greatest commandment.”

Matt 22:37-38

Live The Life

Grow together in God’s Word.

And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matt 22:39

Share the Life

Go to all people near and far declaring the gospel of God’s grace.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matt 28:19-20

The Missional Purpose of LifePointe Church is to encourage, equip, and empower all individuals and groups of LifePointe Church to actively participate in sharing life in Christ with the nations both far and near in a quality and strategic way.

Our Philosophy

We believe that the Church is God’s primary agency for communicating the Gospel of the Kingdom to all the peoples of the earth. The local church is missional in nature because it is commissioned to participate in God’s mission to bring the Good News to every tribe, tongue and nation on earth. The local church fulfills this mission in two ways:

  • By modeling what it means to live under the rule of Christ in its community life
  • By promoting the reign of God in our surrounding community and around the world

Our Strategy

  • Identify people who need to experience the love of God
  • Invest in their lives by giving ourselves in prayer and friendship, support and encouragement; and
  • Invite them to join into joyful fellowship with Christ and the Church.

For more than 130 years, LifePointe Church has had a strong heart for missions. Many people have gone out from our church to serve in full-time ministry on every continent of the world. We invite you to join us in this supremely noble venture of sharing the life in Christ with the whole world.
