I have been called a “sky pilot” (a.k.a. preacher) with a serious bent towards adventure. I’m a husband and a father. I often use bow, barrel, fly rod and mountain bike. I enjoy travel. But what defines me the most is my relationship with Jesus Christ. My greatest adventure has been my spiritual journey of growing in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Savior. My life is an adventure…

Carol and I met at a Baptist Student Union at East Texas State University (now Texas A&M Commerce) in 1981 and married two weeks after we graduated in 1983. A week later, I went to work at Hewlett-Packard in the Dallas area. We lived there until 1996, when HP moved us out to Fort Collins. We brought with us our three daughters. Our oldest graduated from CSU and is now lives in Paraguay; our middle daughter also graduated from CSU, married and starting her career;

They have three beautiful girls and a 85 pound yellow lab named, Otis that keeps their lives full of life! Craig loves LifePointe Church and the people of Fort Collins. Helping people connect to one another and grow in their faith through LifeGroups is a passion for him.

Bonnie and I were married in July of 2004, after a long-distance relationship that began when we served together at a Christian camp near Estes Park. After enjoying marriage for seven years, our family expanded when we welcomed our daughter Audrey to the world in 2011. Our son Caleb joined the family in 2013. I love dates with Bonnie and daddy dates with our little ones, and we all love getting outside together – hiking, biking, or camping.

A few days after Missy and I were married, we threw our few belongings into a truck and drove to Fort Collins, Colorado for the first time in our lives, answering a call God had placed on our hearts to serve at LifePointe Church.  We have thoroughly enjoyed starting our lives together here over the past few years.

I got to marry the greatest woman ever in July of 2010, and her name is Adrienne.  She and I had known each other for many years before I finally got my stuff together enough to realize I needed to ask this girl out…a year later we were engaged in the coolest Christmas tree hunting excursion ever, where the end of the hunt was a little lit tree in the woods with a little red present under it that had a ring in it…she said yes!

My family moved to Fort Collins in 1952. We started attending LifePointe Church and this has been my home church ever since. I began ministering at LifePointe in September of 1996. I love working in the church and with the staff. I have two children and six grandchildren. Twin granddaughters and four grandsons. Being a grandma is the best!

I am originally from Wisconsin, go! pack! go!, my family moved to Ft. Collins when I was 10 years old.  We made LifePointe our family church almost immediately.  My parents are also still members, Margaret and Kevin Bakka. I have a younger brother, Paul and sister, Laura. I am truly blessed to have them as my family.
